Breakfast cereals.. I had forgotten about those a few years ago, finding my childhood staple of Frosted Flakes far too sweet for my palate. I tried granola, and although very tasty, it's also extremely calorie laden, going upwards of 400 calories per cup! One morning, on desperation, I decided to try combining regular breakfast cereal - ok not regular but a mix of organic grains with kamut, oats, bran, millet, etc - with yogurt and sliced fresh fruit.
Delicious! It's become part of my morning routine. I' m a bit particular when it comes to overly sweetened things like fruit yogurts and cereals so I go with plain yogurt and berries.
